Earlier days students and teacher used to have a healthy relation and more over they used to make each other happy by completing the task of each other, like the student used to make teacher happy by completing the assignments and homework given to him on time and the teacher used to reward him/her by a treat or chocolate or a candy.
But time changes, so do we. In modern days, there is a lack of communication between the teacher and the students making it a big communication barrier between the two. Resulting in the improper completion of work and lacking necessary skills required in life.
But to overcome these type of problems the assessment centers have been there in cities helping out necessary students who wish to make the change. It is well said that if you want to see the change , be the change. You have the potential to bring the change, you just need the proper guidance and proper motivation. That’s what assessment centers are for.
‘A method for assessing aptitude and performance; applied to a group of participants by trained assessors using various aptitude diagnostic processes in order to obtain information about applicants’ abilities or development potential.’ George albert from psychometric success said so.
Your assessment center will usually last from half-a-day to two full days depending on the level of position you are applying for. It is most likely that it will be conducted at the employer’s training facility or in facilities provided by the HR consultancy that have been contracted to design and conduct the testing.
They usually make a list of your strengths and weaknesses and shortlist the most favorable jobs for you. Indeed you just need to relax and rest assured about the placement. You just need to worry about the PI you need to tackle in order to prove yourself. Most of them fail in making a good first impression and lag behind others. But this wont happen with you as you are given the practice to face the similar situation in the assessment center. They are really are of great importance as they focus on the betterment of the students/job seekers.
