FLINT & KENT Buffalo | circa 1930's

This is an incredible coat from the 1930's with a dramatic silhouette that makes me think of an evening at the opera. It is done in soft black velvet with a white mink fur hood. It is floor length and closes up the front with round buttons. The coat has a large sweep and full pointed hood. It is fully lined in silk. This is such a great option over an evening gown and looks so much more elegant than your usual winter wool's. The cut is fabulous and the condition is excellent. Click images to enlarge.

RASPBERRY SILK BIAS CUT EVENING GOWN WITH A RHINESTONE BELT - #A146 C. 1930's
circa 1930's

This bias cut gown exudes classic silver screen glamour. Cut from vibrant raspberry colored silk in a typical 1930's silhouette with batwing sleeves and a dramatic drape to the hem. There are rhinestone cutout details on the shoulders and a seperate rhinestone belt that ties in the back. There are snap closures on the side. Stunning cut and color !

A stunning little bolero that I was so excited to find. This works in so many ways. You can pair it with jeans and a tank top or a long evening gown. A layer of mesh over silk with velvet ribbon trim. It is fully decorated with beads and sequins. Lined in ivory silk. A really versatile and rare vintage top with true runway inspiration. SILK CHIFFON FLORAL DECO DRESS WITH JEWELED BELT - #A124
circa 1920's

This 1920's silk chiffon is just remarkable. It is eggshell and cornflower blue floral print in soft diaphanous material with a lot of movement. This dress is red carpet ready and is very very wearable. A full skirt with a ruffled hem and butterfly sleeves. An open detailed back. The dress is fully lined. There is a thin belt with a deco rhinestone paste buckle. I have not seen many dresses quite like this, a very special vintage find. Click images to enlarge.

BLACK LACE AND GOLD LACE SHEER METALLIC EMPIRE WAIST TOP - #A141

A unique Edwardian period topper that is very wearable and would look very modern with jeans. It combines several types of lace and sheer black mesh. The top wraps over itself and hooks on the inside. The hem has a fantastic black tassle that adds to the drama of this one of a kind piece of vintage.

A fabulous and rare lawn gown from the 1930's. A wonderful dress for special events or for your vintage bridal party. There is a sundress style bodice with spaghetti straps and ruched bustline trimmed in tiny ruffle. The skirt is full and ends in a circle on the bottom with thick blue corded trim. This is a fantastic textile in light waffle cotton pique in a delicate cornflower print. There is a metal zipper closure on the side. It is in perfect condition. Size: 8-10

The large peasant sleeves are inset with panels of the most beautiful soft hued pastel embroidery. There are tiny patch pockets on the front and braided rope ties with pom poms at the neck! This is an amazing turn of the century mourning capelet that has this great tattered gothic look to it. It is short in the back and the two front pieces hang down in the front. It is trimmed all the way around in a lace ruffle. It closes up the front with hook and eyes. This looks gorgeous with both jeans and evening wear or pair it with a pair of simple black slacks. It is also a great piece for the collector of Victorian and Edwardian clothing.
